Whom is this course book for?
This is a course book for people who have OCD. If you have OCD, or you are a family member of someone with OCD, you will benefit from this course book. If you specifically have the subtype covered in these books (Relationship OCD/Harm OCD/POCD/Religious OCD/Incest OCD), or you are a family member of someone with these subtypes, you will benefit more from this course book. However, it is critical to get a professional diagnosis to make sure that you have OCD without a shadow of a doubt.
If you have comorbidities (other disorders along with OCD) that require medicinal intervention, and you are resisting medicines, this course book may not be of much help to you. For example, if there is depression along with OCD that prevents you from following the recovery process through, and you merely browse through the course book without making an effort to practice, it may not benefit you. This course book may also not help you if the severity of your OCD is high enough to impact your insight and you are not willing to follow through with the exercises. No course or book can replace professional real-time help, in that case. You may need a combination of medicines and therapy if your OCD is severe.
Other than that, if you have the right attitude for beating your OCD and are willing to put in the effort, this course book will definitely help you in your recovery process.
