Note to the achiever

My dear achiever! Your story so far has been inspiring. You are living  a meaningful life. You have come a long way on your journey. Congratulations! But you still think there is something amiss. Somewhere you experience some emptiness in spite of it all. You know you are capable of something big, something grand, something beyond the ordinary. You have larger than life dreams but there are voids which stop you from reaching your full potential.

 

I know. I have been there myself. I have moved to this after a successful media career of over 20 years. But this isn’t about me. This is about you. You may not want to change your field. You may just want to be better. You may want to have the wherewithal to live a more fulfilling life.

The good news is you are ready to rewrite how your story will further unfold – all you need is someone who will help you take that leap of faith; to let go of merely the good – to embrace the great.

Note to the anxious

My dear reader! I understand what you’re going through. You constantly have this worry about things going wrong. You worry about what it will mean for your family You worry about what it will mean for you. While others are able to take a rational worldview of things, even though you know that you shouldn’t worry, you can’t help it. In fact, the more you try to get out of the loop, the worse it seems to get. Your ability to separate the inane from the imperative seems to have been lost. Believe me, I’ve experienced all this first hand while dealing with my wife’s mental disorder, and I know what you’re going through.

I also know that these things are probably manifesting as physical discomforts like irritability, headache, stomach upset, etc. I do know .

But there’s good news. This situation is beatable. Right now, since you’re in the depths of confusion and fear, you may not know how to. But it can be done. If you work with me, I’ll show you how. It will mean a lot of work. It will not be easy. But if you don’t give up it will yield results.

So I urge you. Confront your demons. Unless you do, they will make home within you forever.

Note to the depressed

My dear friend! It’s ok to sink in the shadows. It’s not ok to unpack and settle down forever. Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.

Have you lost interest in life? Do you find yourself unable to enjoy things that gave you pleasure earlier? Have your energy levels dipped? Has this been happening for a long time now? It is probably an indicator of depression and I feel your pain. Perhaps it is some sorrow that has brought it on. Perhaps it is some guilt. You may also realise that you need to act, but can’t.

When I was dealing with my wife’s mental health issues, I went through most of these symptoms. So believe me, I know what you are going through.

The pain is real, my friend. But also remember, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Always. You just need to learn to see it. With different eyes. Sometimes when you are in a dark place, you think you have been buried. But actually, you have just been planted.

Every wound will heal. Every pain will subside. And it can be done. Apart from millions of others, I am a living example myself. And I know what needs to be done, and how. You just need to want to emerge.

Are you burning out?

Whatever stage of life you are at, whatever state you are in, it is important for you to make sure that in your quest for maintaining a successful, happy exterior, you are not burning out from the inside. That you are not hiding a wound with cosmetic changes. Or maybe you know that you need to talk to someone but do not know whom to ask.

Talk to me. Reach if you think the stress is getting to be too much to bear, and you have no one to turn to for counsel. Talk to me if you think you are reaching a breaking point. Let us assess your burnout together, which I will do through a set of tests and we can then plan out a coping regimen for you as well. Don’t feel alone, you’ve got this. And I am here for you.

The sliding scale of fees

The first session will be a trial session, which you may not pay for, if you don’t want subsequent sessions. You pay for the first session, only if you want subsequent sessions. And you pay for every session, only after the session is done, not in advance.

If you have the need for my help, I have the right offer for you. The sliding scale makes it possible to offer a flexible fee structure to you that will not pinch your pocket. I will try to never let money stand in the way of my intention to help. The fee structure that will be applicable is a dynamic structure that can be discussed if you are interested.
