Welcome to Unshackle Counselling. Below you’ll find our policies regarding privacy, counselling sessions, and book sales.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

  • We collect only necessary details (such as your name, email, and contact information) for scheduling sessions, delivering books, and processing payments.

  • All payments are securely processed by trusted payment gateway partners (such as PayU/Razorpay). We do not store your card or banking information.

  • We never share, sell, or rent your data to third parties.

Refund & Cancellation Policy (Counselling Sessions)

  • Payments once made are non-refundable.

  • Sessions may be rescheduled without additional charge if cancellation is requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.

  • No refunds or reschedules are provided for no-shows or last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice).

  • If a session is cancelled by Unshackle Counselling, you may choose a full refund or a rescheduled session.

Book Sales Policy

Orders & Delivery

  • Physical books will be shipped within 2 days of receiving the order.

  • For digital books/eBooks, download access will be provided immediately after payment.

  • Delivery timelines may vary based on your location and courier availability.

Exchanges, Returns & Refunds

  • For digital books/eBooks: purchases are non-refundable, since access is granted instantly.

  • For physical books:

    • Exchanges are accepted only if the book arrives in a damaged or defective condition.

    • To request an exchange, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at [email protected], with proof (unpacking video and photo of damage/defect). Without the unpacking video and photo of damage/defect, no exchange requests will be entertained. 

    • If approved, exchanges will be processed within 7 working days after the book is received back.

    • Shipping costs are non-refundable. The buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the product was damaged/defective.

Terms & Conditions

1. Counselling sessions are intended for counselling and psychoeducational purposes and are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment. 

2. You are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and private environment during online sessions.

3. All fees for sessions and book purchases must be paid in advance via the provided payment link.

4. Materials, resources, and books authored or provided by Unshackle Counselling are intellectual property and may not be redistributed without permission.

5. All disputes are subject to Indian law and jurisdiction.
